ER309L Stainless Steel TIG Rod

 

ER309 309L  is very similar to type 309 except for the carbon content being lower than .03%.  The extra low carbon content provides good resistance to carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion.

Typical Applications:   works well for dissimilar joints that undergo heat treatment

  • .035 (0.89mm): 50 – 54
  • .045 (1.14mm): 36 – 40
  • 1 16 (1.6mm): 26 – 30
  • 3 32 (2.4mm): 12 – 16
  • 1 8 (3.2mm): 8 – 10
